Hello Nancy
Greetings from Brian and Donna Lockyer of London, Ontario.
My grandfather was John and Eva Lockyer (nee French) of Bay de Verde, Nfld. Your grandmother Ethel was my father's step-sister. Ethel also had a sister Sarah and a brother William. It is my understanding that Ethel and Sarah moved to the Boston area in their 20's. William remained in Bay de Verde and lived with my family until the time of his death in 1961.
John and Eva had three children - Edna and Alice both died at the age of six - my father John was born Feb. 14, 1919 and died at the age of 71. My father married Emmie Benson from Hillview Newfoundland and had six children.
I remember your grandmother coming to visit us in the mid 1950's when I was about 5 or 6.
