1. JEREMIAH [209]5 LOCKWOOD (HEZEKIAH [55]4, GERSHAM [13]3, JONATHAN [1]2, ROBERT1) was born ca 1733 in Greenwich, CT, and died 11/26/1786 recorded at Congregational Church of Stamford. He married Abigail Smith 1/08/1758, daughter of Gabriel Smith and Mary Bell.
Rev: Jeremiah Lockwood enlisted 10/15/1779 at Greenwich as a Pvt. in Capt Thrope's Co in 4th CT Reg. commanded by Col. John Durkee.
Three of his sons were baptised on 11/17/1765 at the Congregational Church of Stamford, CT. Page 48 and 49 of the register of baptisms at Stamford Congregational Church (Vol.3 1747-1846 ) lists David, Henry, and Jeremiah, sons of Jeremiah and Abigail Lockwood, who were baptised on Nov. 17, 1765. There are no ages listed for these children.

2. HENRY (or SYLVENUS)6 LOCKWOOD was born 1/30/1763 in Stamford, Fairfield Co., CT.
I have not found primary evidence of his marriage(s). There is confusion about his marriage in secondary documentation. The DAR lists Henry’s wife as Charlotte Paterson. The book, <i>The Descendants of Robert Lockwood</i>, by F. Holden and E. Dunbar Lockwood, PA 1889 claims #651 Henry Lockwood married Deborah Sellick if Darien, CT daughter of Nathan & Sara Sellik who were members of the Congregational Church at that place when it was organized. Page 429 of the book <i>Southern New York</i> identifies "Sylvenius, son of Jeremiah and Abigail (Smith) Lockwood was born January 30, 1763 and baptized at Stamford, CT November 17, 1765. He married Deborah, daughter of Nathan and Sarah Sellick, of Darien, CT, who were members of the Congregational Church at that place when it was organized." The Couch Files claim Sylvenus Lockwood married Deborah Selleck. The book Bates -Selleck Genealogy claims Henry Lockwood married Deborah Selleck.
The register of baptisms at St John's Episcopal Church (1753-1765) shows no Silvanus Lockwood, by whatever spelling. Although the spelling of this man's name differs, the names of wife and children are the same in all four secondary sources.

5. JAMES [656]6 LOCKWOOD, CAPT. was born 4/17/1775 in Stamford, CT. Capt. in War of 1812. He married Marilda Ferris 11/09/1797, daughter of Enoch Ferris and Rebecca Reynolds.
