Does anyone have any information concerning Zelotes Barnabus Lockwood? He was born in Vermont in 1817, married Susan Elizabeth Fairbanks, b. 1817in Massachusetts, in Rhode Island on 21 Aug 1842.

He was well versed in Greek and Latin. His family was in the DC area on the 1850 census, he served in the Northern Army as surgeon, died in Tennessee. His son, my great grandfather was named Edwin Marcellus Lockwood.

I have searched through Lockwoods after Lockwoods with no results.

I know my grandfather had two sisters who moved to Massachusetts where they had family, but I don't know any more than that
