Descendents of Samuel Lockwood (1700-1787): CN>NY>PA

Samuel Lockwood (1700-1787) was born and died in Greenwich, Fairfield, CN. His wife was Mary. Both are buried in the Old Sound Beach Cemetery, now known as the Tomac or Tomac Avenue Cemetery in Greenwich. Their children included: Samuel (1730-1807)
Phillip (1750-1831)
David (?-1807)
Katherine
Gilbert (1742-1836)

Gilbert Lockwood, above was born in Greenwich, Fairfield, CN and died in Olive, Ulster County, NY. He married Pheobe Hall (1752-1833) in 1768. Gilbert also lived in Westchester County, NY. Thier children included:
Samuel
Gilbert
Dan Hall(1783-1833)
William Hall (1785-1865)
Jesse (1788-1865)
Polly
Ann
Betsey
Katie

Jesse Lockwood, above married Mary W. "Polly" Dudley (1795-1850). They are buried in the Hudler Cemetery, Shandaken, Ulster County, NY. Their children were:

Valentine
Abraham (or Abram) D(1813-1887)
William W (1819-1889)
John
James
Susan
Jeanette or Janet (1824-1912)
Maria W. (aft 1824-1863)

Abraham Lockwood, above married Sarah Randall. Abraham is buried in the Hudler Cemetery, also. Their 10 children included:
James W. (1842-1863) Killed in Civil War
Wilbur (1840-1913)

Wilbur, above was born in Phoenicia, NY and died in Delaware County, NY. He served in the Civil War and married Sarah Elizabeth Rider. Their children included:
Martha A (born c. 1868)
James W "JW" (born c. 1869-1935)

James W, above married Eleanor "Nellie" M. Grant in 1888.

Chester (1889-1972)
James W (born 1890)
Evelyn "Eva" (born 1892)
Sadie (born 1893)
Sydney (born (1894)
