I have a lot of records, marriage, census, etc. to back up the connections. I find that in 1870 William was 23 or 28 depending on the record interpretation. This part of the family is still here in Franklin Co. William is LMiller in 1860 I guess that is when your ggrandfather changed his.How sure are you on GeorgeSr an Jr being the father of William that came from Where in Germany? What can you tell me about that. I will pass this connection on to the current Lockmiller that I am doing this for. My family name is GIST/Guess (sequoyah,George Guess) from ETOWAH. SMall world. My family is from White Co. and Franklin Co. Tn. I have to get a census for 1900 where Arthur is head of house with a 3 year old, Creed. Can you get me the family information on the lines of the brothers that you know. I am putting a giant linage chart framed real nice but would be better with your input. I will make some books updating the closer family. Have you ever seen anything on a Henry Lockmiller from Iowa? They came over in the 1830's from Prussia. Different part of Germany.Do you know anything about the part your George is from or Family still there. Why did they come to AMERICA? I will be in touch. How do I reach the brother's family that you know about. I will also check for his enlistment in the Civil war. Sheri SAVORYSSTARS@yahoo.com
