My husband descends from John Ward and Peggy Latimer who married in Mercer Co KY in the early 1800s. James Ward and Phebe Lockhart had a son, John, b 1755, who was kidnapped by the Shawnee Indians when he was about 3 years of age. I am seeking information that might be useful in the possible connection of this John Ward to James and Phebe Lockhart Ward. Any possible leads would be helpful. Thanks.
