Hi, I'm a descendant of Samuel Lee Lockhart, son of Levi Peter Lockhart and Elizabeth Hungate. Several of my children has a dental condition called, mandibilar tori. The bottom gums began to thicken when a person grows to adulthood. My youngest daughter's dentist told her that she'd be unable to wear denture, should she ever need them, because of the condition. The dentist also told her it was inherited. Her daughter and son both have it, as well as two of my sons. I've found that it's mostly in Asians and Eskimos, but can also be in other races. If anyone one in the Lockhart family has this condition will they please let me know?
