Col. Francis Locke, 1732-1796, brother of General Matthew Locke, now has a proven line of descent in DAR. The wife of Col. Francis Locke was Anna Brandon. This line descends through their son John who married Margaret Locke, daughter of Gen Matthew. John and Margaret were first cousins. John and Margaret had a son named John who married Elizabeth Gaddis. They had a son James Francis Locke who married Permelia Miller. Feel free to contact me for the continuation of this line.
