Judith Locke married James Sandridge in Goochland Co., VA in 1757. James died by 1778, and their son John Sandridge (born about 1758) chose Drury Woodson of Cumberland Co., VA to be his guardian (and Judith had remarried to a Daniel Jones). Does anyone have any information on this Locke family?
It appears that the above John Sandridge was also the man of that name who married Mary Davidson around 1778 in either Buckingham or Cumberland Co., VA. As such, their descendants would all be Locke descendants. Thanks.
