I have yet to ever see Locknane as a veriation .
Lock(e) has been misspelled in many records over time and I have seen the following misspellings : Lok , Loc , Look , Looks , Looke , Louke , Lack , Lacke , Loke
just to name a few but Lock and Locke are the true and correct spelling .

If Locknane is a related family then they have changed thier name from either
Lock or Locke TO Locknane but not the other way around :)
Lock or Locke TO Locknane but not the other way around :) Lock(e) is typicly from England but have been known to come from : Germany , Ireland , Scottland , and even a Chinese Locke line !
