Does your mother or grandmother know anything about Sydney Robert or Gertrude Locke, they would have been siblings.
Robert married (my grandmother) Mary Penny from Holyrood Newfoundland and settled on Bell Island when he went to work in the Iron Ore Mines there. He was one of the first men to work in the mine. They had a large family, my mother "Regina Locke" being one of them.
I certainly do appreciate your checking on this for me. I've been trying to get a fix on the family for awhile now and got nowhere... Thanks again... Roselyn
