Lock / Locke
Hi everyone!
Just an update on the Lock / Locke DNA project.
We now have 35 Lock(e) men in the DNA project.
We now know there are at least 24 distinct unrelated lineages in the world and that number grows as more men participate.
The most well known and oldest Lock(e) lineages in the USA have a very good participation rate so far and that is great! That means some of the most well researched and oldest lineages in the USA have participated in the project and so we now have a good idea how their DNA's all look.
There is now 7 distinct groups who's DNA is a good match and most of whom have a paper trail linking their branches together.
While the USA lineages are going very well in the project, we are really needing you Lock(e)'s who live in England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Sweden and else where to participate in this project.
This is a world wide project for all Lock / Locke men to determine how many distinct lineages there are in the world and to see which branches shared a common male ancestor.
If you are interested in the DNA project, please contact me via email.
