HELP I'm trying to track my Ancertry line of Sampson and Loyd/Lloyd. John Sampson mg Martha Loyd. John was born between 1825-1828 and died bef 1900 in Bledsoe Co. Tn. He may have been Indian or part Indian. Martha was born between 1830-1835 and died aft 1910 in Rhea Co. TN. She is burried in Bledsoe Co. TN. These are my great great grandparents, I'm descended through their daughter Martha.
John and or Martha were in the 1850-1910 of Bledsoe Co. TN
Their children were:
Deliah/Mary A. Sampson mg Frank Smith
Emaline Sampson mg. Sam or John Swafford
Martha "Mattie" Sampson mg. Wm. Allen Thurman
James F. Sampson 1st unknown Garrison, 2ed "Effie" May Lewis
Samual Sampson mg. Sarah Adaline last name unknown
Martha Loyd has a brother named Thomas born about 1842. He was with John and Martha in 1850.
There was a William and Susan Ann Sampson in Bledsoe Co. Tn in 1850, born about 1828 and 1829. They had three children Martha, Sarah, and James. I don't have anything else on this couple.
If anyone knows anything about this family, I would appreciate any informaion. I wasn't able to find any mention about these two families.
