SARAH TARVER married LOYD/LLOYD

I am trying to find information about SARAH TARVER (b.ca. 1750)who was a daughter of ANDREW TARVER (d. 1780) and his wife, Elizabeth Jordan, of Northampton Co., NC.

In his will probated in 1780, she was called SARAH LOYD, and received a bed and furniture. Her married sisters also received in addition to a bed and furniture a slave. These sisters' husbands were also named in the will. Two unmarried sisters also received a slave each.

I cannot find any mention of a LOYD or LLOYD in the wills or deeds of Northampton Co., NC, during this time period.

The TARVER family also had connections in Brunswick Co., VA, where were were Loyds/Lloyds.

Any help will be appreciated.

Bob
