Does anyone have any different or better information about William Lloyd (a/k/a Loyd) than what shows below?? William was born between 1680 and 1685 and died in 1752 in Prince George's County, Maryland. His marriage and the births of his first four children, Thomas, Anne, Mary and Jane, are all recorded in the parish records. I am SPECULATING that he also had a daughter Martha and a son William. I am seeking more information to confirm or refute this theory. If anyone has information, please contact me directly at duaneaboggs@hotmail.com

Notes for MARTHA LLOYD:
In June 1788, Martha's daughter Lydia (Burgess) Tenley (a/k/a Mrs. William Tenley, living in Prince George’s County) named a son Loyd Wales Tenley. In January 1789, just six months later, Martha's daughter Rachel (Burgess) Thompson (a/k/a Mrs. Richard Thompson, living in Loudoun County, Virginia) named a son Lloyd Thompson. These name choices are the basis of my THEORY that Martha was born a Lloyd. In addition, Martha named her only son William, which could be after William Lloyd.

BURGESS, Arnold, m. by 1770, Martha Ball, dau. of Richard (PGWB T#1:15).

But what does the Prince George's County Will Book "T", at 1:15, really say? Is this the will of Richard Ball, and is it a mistaken inference?
