Llewellyn-McNamee PA>VA>KY>OH late 1700's
Hello I am a McNamee researcher and have discovered that my McNamee's moved along with the Llewellyn family to Kentucky about 1791 and am attempting to figure the move and family association.
Isaac Pearson McNamee + Margaret Llewellyn and their son Isaac Llewellyn Mcnamee moved to KY(Nelson/Hardin Co.) and were in the 1793/4/5 KY tax records (note from researcher which I have not viewed).
What prompted these two strong Quaker families to move to KY? I think they were disowned and became discouraged and were looking for more freedom from their own religion.
When and where did Shadrach Lewellin the husband of Deborah Burson die? Their daughter married Isaac Pearson McNamee.
Thanks for all your help.
Sincerely, Bill Good
