Per the census data below, I believe this William Livingston was the same individual throughout the census info. I have not been able to find any of the family group on the 1910 census. I am trying to corroborate that this was the same family group, and seek any descendants of this group. All census data from ancestry subscription. 1870 US Census, Mississippi, Calhoun County, township 11: 242-242- Cook, James - age 29, Farm Labor, b. AL Mary - age 23, keeping house, b. MS, parents b. MS Amanda and William were married in Tallahatchie Co., MS, 29 Dec. 1887. Per the marriage records of 1887, if "Minnie" was a step-dau., and her birth date was Feb. 1888, and surname was listed as "Livingston," where does she fit into this family group--was she Amanda's child by a previous marriage and born after William and Amanda married? ----- No 1910 census can be found on this family. James Nonas Livingston filled out his WWI draft registration card, Blytheville, AR--stated his b'date was 14 Oct. 1894, born Sumner, Tallahatchie Co., MS. No further record for him has been found. He worked as a craneman for a dredge barge. No record of Schley H. Livingston after 1900 has been found to date. [Roy] Ernest Livingston was found in 1920 living in Summit Co., OH, was divorced. He was a lodger; worked for the Rubber company. Age listed was 30, b. MS, parents b. U.S. In 1930 Ernest was living in Summit Co., OH, was age 38, married at age 35, wife was named Myrtle, age 25, married at age 23; and Ernest's mother Amanda, age 63 and widow, was living with him. Info states he was b. TX, father b. AL, mother b. MS. In 1917 in Summit Co., OH, Ernest filled out a WWI draft reg. card; stated he was born 7 May 1889; born Texas, worked as a dredge man for the Columbia Chemical Co., dependents were his father, a wife, and child of 7 years. However, in 1942 Ernest filled out a WWII draft reg. card; stated he was born in Sumner, MS and worked at the Goodyear Rubber Co. He was b. May 2, 1889. I believe the individual who filled out the WWI and WWII cards was the same Ernest Livingston. I am trying to find out when William, Adeline, and Amanda died and where. What happened to Schley H. Livingston after 1900. Who was Ernest's first wife? Any information on this family group will be appreciated. Thank you. Pat Dakin; patdakin@mindspring.com Notify Administrator about this message?
