I am just beginning to search for my Great great grandfather-Jesse Livingston. I have found out through the North Ala Conf of the United Methodsit church that a church was named after him. Here is what I know:
Jesse Livingston b 1-12-1818 died 11-7-1879.
The church that he helped form is called Livingston Chapel In Crane Hill Alabama. The church was established in 6-26-1867. The church still operates in the community where it was formed.
Jesse married a Clara Ann ?. They had a daughter Margaret Ann Livingston b 3-9-1858 in Alabama and died 8-2-1929 in Lawrenburg, TN. Margaret Ann married George Washington Tingle and they had a daughter (my grandmother) Bessie Mae Tingle b 10-12-1893 and died 11-14-1987.
If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate the help.
