Otis, do you have any other information about the John Levingston who you said could be French Huguenot? Does anyone know who his sons were?

There is reason to believe that Susannah Livingston who married Andrew Mires/Myers may be a sister to Andrew Livingston/Levingston (1781-1879). Andrew and Susannah Myers' children have similar Christian names to those of Andrew and Elizabeth Levingston, and both families lived in Monongalia County VA/WV and then moved to Licking Co. Ohio.

I see the name John Levingston/Livingston in Frederick VA, also in Fayette County PA and other places. I would very much like more information on any John Levingstons who could have had children between 1768 and 1790. We are beginning to get DNA samples from Livingston males in Andrew L*'s family to see if they match other Livingstons from France or Germany.
