No, I am afraid I don't have much either.

I am related to Andrew Mires(Myers)Sr through Andrew Jr who married a Jane Smith in Licking Co, OH in 1821 and came to Fulton Co, IL in about 1838 and died here in 1844.

I have a copy of a piece of scratch paper that Solomon's(son of Andrew Sr)daughter wrote to Austin Mires in abt 1900+ that lists the names of the children of Andrew Sr and their date of births. She also said that Andrews father was Peter Mires (Myers) and mother was Catherine Cought. She said they were French Huguenots. That is about all I have on Peter and Catherine. I do have quite a bit of info on several of the Andrew Sr family and would be happy to share with anyone as well as receive other family info.

As far as Susannah's Livingston line, I have not seen proof as to who her parents were. I have seen some who say it was Philip Philip Livingston (son of Philip Livingston the Signer, but no documentation of this. Several have said she is the sister of George Livingston of Licking Co, OH and I do believe this as George, Jr also came to Fulton Co., IL and George Sr had a daughter named Susannah who married a Lake in Licking Co, OH. Andrew Mires (Myers) had a son Peter who also married a Lake there in Licking Co., OH so it seems that these families were close. I have not seen any documentation on this however.

Glad to hear from you cousin,

Lou Myers
