Allie Byrge Lively, 96, of Harriman, formerly of the Petros
Community, passed away at her home, Friday, February 13,
2009.
Ms. Lively was a member of Free Communion Baptist Church
in Devonia, TN. She was known as a person who enjoyed
spending time with her gardening, fishing, cooking, and
hand quilting with her friends. She enjoyed listening to
Blue Grass and Southern Gospel Music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Joe Lively;
son, Paul Lively; granddaughters, Shelia Ruth Lively and
Serinda Ann Lively; mother and father, Sarah and Mike
Byrge; sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Bryant Seiber;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Dean Byrge,
Eather and Stella Byrge, and Obal and Becky Byrge.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Marietha B. Lively;
grandson, Joe Lively; granddaughter, Sheral Lively, all of
Harriman; sister-in-law, Lucie Lively and family of
Harriman; special nephew, Vernon Seiber and family of
Petros; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 15th,
2009, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Schubert Funeral home, Wartburg,
TN. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Bro. Randy
Roper officiating. Interment will follow in the Petros
Cemetery.
