Hello,
I have been trying to locate the family of Daniel (Dan) Littrell who married Bessie Lee "Vance" Littrell in TN. I believe they lived for a while in Swanee, TN. They had two children before divorcing.

Dewey Clyde Littrell was born in 1912-1913. The story is that Daniel (Dan) Littrell was a Sheriff of Middlesboro, KY. and was shot before Dewey Clyde was born.????
Please can anyone help find this branch of Littrell's from LEE COUNTY, VA. and maybe clarify the facts as to wheather Daniel was a Sheriff or not?
I have been searching for Daniel for quite alwhile. Daniel and Bessie Lee "Vance" Littrell also lived in Wise County, VA. for some time.
