I have the surname Littlewood in my family tree I wondered if there could be any connection?
My grandmothers maiden name was littlewood and as far as I know they lived and worked in dewsbury the earliest I can go back at present is Edward Littlewood born 1848 he married Ellen Reddy in march 1869 they had nine children
Eliza ann, Hannah, Edward, Charles william, Florence, John Thomas, James Arthur, Winifred Ellen, Austin.
Eliza ann became a nun in holland.
Winifred Ellen emmigrated to America and married.
Charles william was my great grandfather he married Jane croughan and they had
James, Elizabeth Ann and Margaret who was my grandmother her married name was moreland
