Carl,
Sorry I haven't replied to this or your e-mail on same subject. From other documents we have seen, I think most of us are in agreement that this is Betty Thomas who was married to Southy Littleton. They came from MD and there are articles about them dying n New River, Onslow Co, NC in 1804.
Keep looking, I am a believer that Vica must have died and then Southy remarried. My best guess is that Southy Jr, son of the above mentioned Southy and Betty Thomas married an Ann ?? and then had a son I call Southy III, b abt 1780who married Vica in 1799.I think she died and then Southy remarried and reappears in 1820 Jones Co, GA.I also think the following is a pretty good assumption BUT THERE IS NO PROOF TO IT.JUST MY BEST GUESS based on dates, locations, etc. When a guy age 40 shows up somewhere, he HAD to have been somewhere else 20 years earlier.
PLEASE DON'T TAKE THE FOLLOWING AS TRUTH - THIS IS MY ASSUMPTION:
1 Southy Littleton, Jr b: Abt. 1750
+Ann
2 Southy Littleton III b: Abt. 1780 info: COULD be the Southy that shows up in 1820 Jones Co, GA ?
+Vica Eubanks m: 01 Dec 1799 Onslow Co, NC
2 Thomas Littleton b: Abt. 1780
+Mary Higgins m: 11 Dec 1800 Onslow Co, NC
3 Thomas Sparks Littleton b: 1815 NC info: ONLY a GUESS RIGHT NOW Occupation: Cooper
+Jemima P Cragg m: 01 Jan 1839 Onslow Co, NC
3 Southy Littleton IV b: Abt. 1819 NC info: ONLY a GUESS RIGHT NOW Occupation: Cooper
+Martha Hewitt m: 20 Dec 1842 Onslow Co, NC
