Gerald, There was a John E. McPherson of Reynoldsville Pa. Who was with General Terry when they found Custer and his men. John is my gganddad on my grandmother Mina McPhersons side. I have an article from the Reynoldsville Pa Star, dated Wednesday, March 16, 1927, which covers some of the info.. Thought you might like the info..
