Linda, Myles Walter KEOGH was born March 25,1842 at Orchard House in County Carlow, Ireland, the son of John and Margeret Blanchfield KEOGH. He served with distinction in the Pope's army and was a Second Lieutenant on August 7, 1860 in the Battalion of St. Patrick of the Papal Army. On Nov. 9,1860 he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the Papal Guards.He arrived in New York on April 9,1862. Appointed Capt. US Volunteers, effective April 9,1862. Served in the Civil War. Killed in the Battle of the Little Big Horn. Capt. KEOGH was unmarried and survived by his brother, Thomas of Park, County Carlow, Ireland and sisters Margeret and Mrs. Ellen DONAHUE, both of County Clifden, Ireland.
