John Hiley, brother of Sir William Stuart-Forbes of Carterton. NZ.. The surname of Stuart has come down from Pittsligo. Scotland.. I do have the Burkes Peerage for Scotland if anyone is interested for a look up, especially for Stuart family... Hiley was John's brother in laws name, and one of Sir William's daughters had the name added to hers as well.. I am in contact with descendants here in NZ as well.. JOhn Stuart Stuart-Forbes memorial is in St. John's Church. Edinburgh, have the photographs on the site and here at home.. The Pittsligo Castle which is the *Seat* of the Stuart family, is undergoing renovations.. Sir Wm. is buried in South Island. NZ.. he remarried, and his first wife and some family are here at Carterton Cemetery.
