Hi
Sgt William A Curtiss (enlisted as Willie and spelt Curtis with two 's') was born 1846 in Albany NY and died Helena MT Oct 27 1888. Enlisted 28 March 1867. Was with the Pack Train on 25 June in charge of Company F mules. Was under Captain Yates' command until assigned to mule train. Would have joined the Reno/Benteen hilltop fight after the retreat from the Valley.
If this is the person you are looking for,I do have a bit mor info!
Ron
