Tezinikai, Russia

I have been able to trace my great uncle to a city, Tezinikai, Russia, through his naturalization papers. The forms indicate that he was born in Tezinikai, Russia on Nov 5, 1881 and emigrated in 1901. Most of Matin(uncle), Michael(my grandfather) and Ethel(their sister) Baubonis/Babonis/Boboris papers indicate they are Lithuanian/Russian. However, I have not been able to locate any city by this name. My guess is the spelling is incorrect. Can anyone help me locate this city?
