Patricia,
I hate to discourage you but the odds of your finding descendants of ancestors from 100 years ago are slim, partly because of the mobility of the population in that period, partly because of two World Wars and invasions and occupations by the Russians and Germans, deportations by the Soviets, and partly because most Lithuanians do not know their own ancestry any better than we do (before we began family history searching), and partly because the descendants lived in the largest and 2nd largest cities in Lithuania, partly because many women got married and thus their maiden names are no longer in use.
Regarding the names, the Lithuanian spelling of the Polish ending "-wicz" would be "-vic^ius.Lithuanian does not use the letter combination "ch" but the letter "c" with a little birdie over it, typed "c^".But I think the "ch" here represents the sound "k" as in the English word "chemist", which would be "k" in Lithuanian.Maryte is a term of endearment for a woman or girl named Marija (Mary).
So the name was likely Marija Mikalkevic^ius in Lithuanian.
You do have a relatively recent address in Kaunas (it would be spelled "J. Janonio gatve" since the letter "y" is pronounced like the "ee" in "week" but the letter "j" is pronounced like the English "y" in "yellow") though it appears to be in the suburban town of Raudondvaris rather than the city of Kaunas proper. And you have so much information about the family, that I would suggest first that you send an email to Sigita Gasparavic^iene in Lithuania with the information and questions. She may be able to help direct you to someone there who might be helpful. Here is her web site in English:
http://www.archeonas.lt/enhttp://www.archeonas.lt/en
There is also a fellow in Lithuania who does tours and helps folks find relatives. If Sigita cannot help, I'd suggest posting your request again.Odds are that you'll have to pay some kind of fees for any work that either of them do.
