Matt,
Well done.A major stumbling block overcome.
Odds are pretty high that the surname actually begins not with the letter "z" but with the Lithuanian "z^", i.e., "z" with a little birdie over it which indicates it is pronounced "zh" as in the English word "azure."
The online phone book for Lithuania shows no entries for this surname, but does have variations on it such as Z^alnerauskas, Z^alneriunas, and Z^alneravic^ius. All these name share a common root or stem "Z^alner-" with Z^alneraitis and in the distant past may well have a common ancestor.
Vincentas (Vincas for short) would be Vincent's given name in Lithuanian.
