Martha,

While hardly an expert in translating and not being a native speaker, I can only give my reading of this message:

In the archives, please be informed that birth records in the following Roman Catholic churches in Vilnius: St. John, St. Bernard, Holy Ghost, St. James, Ss. Peter and Paul, St. Raphael, Our Lady, All Saints, Calvary, and St. Ann's, in the 1886 metric book, were not found for Casimir Malinovksi, son of Adam (Charles (Casimir Kazamus) Malinowski, Adam).

Head of the Department,
Ausra Rutuliene

It might be worthwhile to get a native speaker to translate this for you, just to be on the safe side.

John Peters
