Hello John,
Yes, that is my Grandfather and I had found out some of the info rom Ellis Island website. You see how challenging the mispelling are, don't you?
The relationship to his sponsor doesn't make any sense to me, as he never had a brother or sister in this country. Someone has suggested that people from the same region often sponsored each other and, becasue you needed a familial relationship to come here, they exhaggerated. Is this what you have found, as well?
