I found a few pages of a family line living in the Mielagenai area. The chapter is headed BURKOLAS-BUROKAS. It says that in 1736 there was a Kazimieras Burkolas living in the area. Then in the 19th century there was a Jurgis Burokas who also went by the name Burkolas. He had a son named Juozas born 1838, and a grandson named Juozas born 1868. There is more on the descendants, but none are Paul or said to have gone to Canada. There doesn't appear to be anything that you can connect directly to with the info you have so far. There are some photos that I will try and email to you. This is from the book MIELAGENU KRASTAS, ISTORIJA PAPROCIAI ZMONES bu Jonas Bajorunas, pages 213-217.
