Asta, Thank You for responding. Your guess is as good as mine. I have 12 different spellings for her name Swentitska
and her sister's married name was Laconis (after it was changed in the US). The names of the town look like U to me but could it be a V?Are there any towns like that?When she came to the US, she could only speak Lithuanian and Russian. Her husband was Polish but could also speak Russian as Imperial Russia controlled the territory in those days. Any comments are appreciated.
