This organization and individual enticed me to send them $70 USD in November, 2001 for the purpose of having them do research for me at the Vilnius archives.I have been unable to get any response whatsoever from them despite several e-mails asking for some kind of status report. This month I received a private e-mail from someone in Lithuania about this organization in response to a posting on the Lithuanian Genealogy Forum with the following message:
“Many times I was asking how is work going, I drive to Vilnius, I was looking for them by their address but none was there.I call at home.No answer.I didn't pay to them but when they said that they have found family ( village name) I come to Vilnius and they ask me to pay 180 litas and they said to me only the name of village and that’s all....This is a reason why I don't trust to any exept Vilnius archive. We have to waite about 2 years but they are doing good job....They are no government agency.I think they are people who want to make easy moneys: by their words: american has a lot of moneys and they will pay as many you ask. They open their own buisness on reaserch. They are going to Vilnius archive and looking records lists by themselfs. It's free.I know that they are asking to pay for one hour 9 dollars (one man from France ask them to do reaserch.) I know that they are reading messages Lithuanian geneology.I'll never give recomendation to none. They make me very ungry and upset. Sorry, this is only my opinion. [Name withheld]. Lithuania.”
