Birgeles surname and the seemingly non-existent village of Butazcy? (~1900)

I traced back to my great-grandfather, and found out from checking passenger lists that he had two brothers come to New York shortly after he did. His manifestation record just says he came from Lithuania, but one brother's says "Butazcy" and the other one "Banzaici". Googling both town names turned up no results.

There's also been many, many misspellings of the surname-- at least 5 different versions I'm aware of!

Based on spelling derps and anglicization of surnames, I found a list of Lithuanian surnames and think one of these could be a match for tracing further in Lithuanian records:

But without the correct town/village name...:(

Any help on how to trace back further in terms of both the name and the village would be appreciated. Thank you.
