Who was your father? My grandmother lived and died in St. Francisville. Her name was Sophia Maria Litherland (Moody), she was married to Clarence Moody. She was born 1894 Her parents were Thomas Jefferson & Sara Jane Huddleston Litherland. Thomas parents were Jonathan & Millie J Huddleston Litherland
Is there any connection here? I know there are a lot of Litherlands in St. Francisville,Vincennes & Lawrenceville. If there is a connection I would love the information about King Charlemaine.
The Moody family I am tracing goes back to supposedly saving the life of King Henry the VIII. Have read this story various times but never able to verify it.
