I don't know if my Litherland's might be related to yours or not.
William, born in 1829 in St. Helen's married Mary Ann Thomas on Aug. 20, 1854 and they had three sons, Samuel, John and William. William married again to Selina Simms in St. Helen's and they had four children, Eli, Sarah, Mary and Eli.
Eli is my ggrandfather. They move to Tyldesley sometime around 1860.
