William Litherland and Elizabeth were my gggrandparents. She was born within a mile of where I live now at Compton's Fort which is now Allendale,IL. Thereis a monument in the cemtery to the early settlers of the community.
Joseph and Mary , their youngest children ,were twins. Joseph was the father of my grandmother Flora May who married W.O.Leek.
