I am looking for more information on a William Lewis Blount Litchfield (aka W. L. Litchfield) who was married to a Mary Lewis in the South Carolina./North Carolina area of Horry County in the early 1800s.
He was the father of a Rachel Ann litchfield, who married William Iredell Gore who served in the CSA army and after the war, became a prominent merchant and resident in Wilmington NC during the mid 1800s. Any solid information on W. L. Litchfield's origins, other children, siblings, parents, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
