Let me know when you find out who this man belonged to; I don't have him in my database. I believe all the Litaker's (Leyendecker's/Lydecker's) of Rowan, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Montgomery Counties in NC are descendants of Johannes Philipp Leyendecker and Maria Rosina Ludwig, my 5th great-grandparents.
