In the 1910 Somerset Co., NJ census, Michael Liska stated that he had emigrated with his wife Anna in 1901. In the 1920 census (NJ) Michael said that he had emigrated in 1904 and that Anna emigrated in 1905 (???). In 1920, they both said that they were from the Saris region of Slovakia. There may have been a brother, John Liska. John Liska was the informant on Anna's deathe certificate in 1931. I know that Michael and Anna had only two children: Peter and Pauline (my grandmother).
