Hello,
Looking for info on the Lisks of Staten Island New York.
Grandfather, John William Lisk Sr., born around 1907, married to Ethel.
His parents died when he was young and was raised by his Grandfather on his father's side. My Grandfather never spoke of his father or mother other than telling me they died when he was young.
I have info that suggests that his Father may have been John A. Lisk of John Street, Staten Island, NY. He died at the age of 35 in 1910.
His Mother may have been named Catherine, who died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis at the age of 25 in 1909. John Street, Staten Island may have been her address as well, I found info showing a child named Catherine was still born at that address in 1904.
Upon my Great Great Grandfather passing, my Grandfather took over his house and lived there till he retired in 1971 to New Jersey. My Grandfather lived on John Street, Elm Park section of Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York.
Any info on the Lisk family history would helpful.
