Mary (Leishman) Buchanan ~Could be Lishman

Came from Canada in the 1860s to BeeBranch, Chariton, MO. She was married to John/Jack Buchanan in Canada and they had several children, including Paul Jones Buchanan. (His death certificate lists his mother's maiden name as "Lishman," which is why I'm posting here!!(

I found the obit for Paul that said that he was half brother to the children of George Porter McCurry. (I think they meant step... misprint)

GP's first wife died in 1882, and he shows up as married to Mary, born in Canada, in the 1900 census. Putting these (and other) details together, and working with another researcher, we've determined that it HAS to be this same Marry. (John/Jack died sometime between 1873 (conception of last daughter) and 1880, where he is absent from the census)

Can't find any marriage record or death record to confirm, though. Anyone have anything? I think I'm coming to the conclusion that they weren't actually married, but were living together.... seems weird for that time period and that family, though.

I have info on a few of her kids (Flora, Catherine, Paul) that I can share if anyone is interested.
