William H Lisenby, DeWitt, IL, son of Charles of TN?
William H Lisenby, whom I mention in the message prior to this one is in the 1865 census in Dewitt County. In his household are 1 male under 10, one female under 10, 2 males from 10-20, 1 female 20-30 and 1 male 20-30.So there are two males in his household who appear to be too old to be his, I think. Two names before him is Elizabeth Mastin. Now, Alfred T Lisenby, son of Charles and Susan of Washington County, TN married Nancy Mastin in Dewitt County. In the 1865 census for Perry County, Alfred has son under 10 and daughter under 10 but in 1870 his son Logan age 3 was living with his grandparents (James Laswell) and Alfred had no kids with him in the 1870 census.By 1880 Logan was back with Alfred. So where was Alfred's son from the 1865 census?Could his son have been Charles Lisenby who was in Dewitt County in 1870?Or was Charles one of the boys over age 10 in William H Lisenby's household in 1865?
I see people have that William H Lisenby son of Charles and Susan died in KY but I don't see a source, except other family trees.William H was in his mothers household in 1860. Could this be him in Dewitt? He is listed just a few houses away from Benjamin, Charles S and E Lisenby.
