Hello, I also am a Lipka and researching my immediate family, as well as the name...If you enter the name LIPKA into the search engine you will come up with many pages about Lipka's..The name appears all throughout Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Russia...There is a church named St. Lipka which is in Poland.. My relatives came from Germany, and some are still in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
We are from the family of Wilhelm Lipka of Germany, whose sons August, Frederich and Johann came to America - and children William and Charlotte remained in Germany.
