I have this line to the mid 1700`s. My line is traced to Jean Baptise Lencicom. He is also listed as Jean dit Basilio Lensecom. Because Louisiana was french at the time and there is another Lencicom called "Basil of Maryland" Jean Baptise may be a translation of John Basil. Anybody missing a Basil and a John? Maybe they moved to Cajunland.
