The rub in all of this is making the successful (and documented in some fashion) leap from the Linthicum to Lincicome line between generations 3 and 4. You will most always find from this point forward that the Lincicome were very interrelated with the Archers. There is a very serious Archer researcher, George Archer garcher@wdn.com who has done voluminous research on this and is still looking for the definitive answers. I suggest you contact him.

I have Linthicums from NC in Monroe Co., IN since the 1830's and they seem not to have had any close association with the Lincicomes. Many of the Linthicums are buried in the Linthicum Cemeteery in Monroe Cty. It is still well tended and there are still Linthicum descendants in the area.

Good Hunting

Terry L.
