In Mrs Badger's book there is a sort of sub-paragraph to her short-form "History of Linthicum Families in Maryland" in which she says "Jones' History of Dorchester Co., Md., refers to Linthicum's (sons of Richard, son of Francis) shipyard at Church Creek (not far from Chesapeake Bay) as one of only two yards in the County where vessels were then extensively built."
